Bourgie Bah't Mitzvah
This is me with my sister’s, Octavia’s daughters; her youngest, Jacquelyn, is next to me; next, is the 2nd youngest, Aisha; and on the far left is her oldest, Tasha. The 3 under the dryers were getting our hair ‘did’ for Tasha’s wedding, on Saturday, September 9. (Obviously, little Jacquelyn was good to go, with her locks.)
Yes, that’s right; my niece is getting married. I’m at the stage where I’m attending weddings of the next generation. It’s feels like a new dimension; like walking through a rip in the space-time continuum. And you’re thinking, “What’s with all the b.s.? You’re jealous; admit it and move on.”
It was also 13-yr-old, Aisha’s first time getting her hair ‘did’, as well as, her first mani-pedi. Is that a Corona in her hand? Sunrise, sunset, ya’ll.
